Warranty Registration & Eligibility: The warranty applies only to the original purchaser of Perraro electric trikes and must be registered within 30 days of purchase through our Product Registration Portal. Proof of purchase is required for warranty claims. The warranty is non-transferable. What's Covered: Defective or damaged components in Perraro electric tricycles caused by manufacturing defects or shipping damage (not user-related). Replacement parts for frames, motors, and batteries within the specified warranty period. Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal conditions. What's NOT Covered: Corrosion, fading, scratches, or paint damage due to environmental factors on Perraro electric trikes. Damage from misuse, accidents, or improper storage. Wear and tear parts such as brake pads, spokes, rotors, chains, and tires. Unauthorized modifications, third-party repairs, or use of non-Perraro parts. Damage from natural disasters, such as floods, fires, or storms. Wear and Tear: Wear and tear refers to damage that naturally occurs with regular use of Perraro electric tricycles. Components like cassettes and chains will wear out over time and require replacement. Minor scratches, paint damage from exposure to the elements, and creaking noises often indicate regular maintenance needs rather than product defects. The following items are considered typical wear and tear parts and are not covered by the warranty: Bearings Brake Pads Chains Free Hub Bodies Handlebar Grips Rubber moving parts Shifter, brake cables, and casings Spokes Sprockets Stripped threads/bolts Tools Transmission gears Warranty Claim Process: To file a claim for Perraro electric trikes, please open a case through our Technical Support Portal. Claims must be submitted within the warranty coverage period. Replacement parts may require a refundable deposit upon return of the defective parts within 14 days. Perraro reserves the right to inspect claims before approving replacements. Shipping Damage: Claims for shipping damage of Perraro electric tricycles must be reported within 7 days of receipt. Retain all original packaging and provide dated photos for damage claims. Important Notice: Return shipping costs for Perraro electric trikes are the customer's responsibility unless otherwise stated. Labor charges for parts installation or transfers are not covered unless pre-approved. Perraro is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to product failure. Returns of New and Unused Items – Within 14 Days of Receipt: You may return any unused and like-new item (trikes must have zero miles recorded on the odometer) within 14 days from the delivery date for a full refund, excluding shipping charges. Return shipping costs of $250 for electric trikes and $190 for two wheel ebike are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return results from a shipping error on our part. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Returns of Used Items: If you wish to return an item that has been used, it must be returned within 14 days from the delivery date. Items returned in used condition will be subject to a 40% restocking fee, and the customer will cover return shipping costs. The trike must have fewer than 20 miles recorded on the odometer and be free of damage to qualify. Return Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for all return shipping charges, which are non-refundable. Return Process and Timing: To initiate a return, please use our return portal and follow the instructions provided. Refunds are generally processed within 72 hours of receiving the returned item, although bank processing times may vary. Perraro Electric Bike does not accept cash on delivery (COD) shipments. Orders Purchased Through Retail Partners: Returns must be processed directly with the original place of purchase. Perraro Electric Bike does not accept returns for items bought through bike shops or third-party retailers. Please contact the store where the purchase was made for their return policy. Refused Shipments: If you refuse delivery of your order after shipment, a flat fee of $250 per trike will be charged to cover partial shipping costs. Once the order is returned to us, a refund will be issued for the purchase price, minus the $250 fee, through your original payment method. Notify us immediately if you refuse a shipment to avoid delays in processing your refund. Battery Returns: Due to shipping regulations on lithium-ion batteries, battery purchases are non-returnable. These high-capacity batteries cannot be shipped back under current transportation restrictions. We stand behind the quality of our electric trikes and strive for customer satisfaction.
